The CPA requirements of the states listed below have been deemed substantially equivalent to Illinois CPA requirements. If you hold a valid, unrevoked, unexpired CPA license from one of these states you may obtain an Illinois CPA Registration or License by contacting the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

Provisional Clearance & application approval

If you are a provisional candidate expecting to view your scores, please be advised it will take from one to two weeks to clear your provisional status once we have received notice your transcripts have been received. Please do not call asking for an update as this further delays the process.

Once we receive your initial exam application, you can expect approval within 2 weeks.
